  • What is Junior Membership?

Junior Membership is an opportunity for officials to join the KSOA who are 23 years of age and younger OR who are brand new to officiating regardless of age. For $20 a year ($22 if paying by credit card or through PayPal), these individuals receive the educational materials and networking opportunities available to full members.

  • Why become a Junior Member?

Many young and/or new officials are not provided a clear pathway for growth and development as a sports official. Through Junior Membership in the KSOA, these individuals get connected with an association that can connect them with high level officials, expose them to top notch training, help them smoothly transition into officiating at the high school level, and further develop them as officials and people.

  • How do I become a Junior Member?

If you or someone you know is interested in becoming a Junior Member of the KSOA, please complete this short application by
